Account data: When you sign up, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google.
Recipe data: Recipes you save, meal plans you create, and shopping lists are stored on our servers to sync across your devices.
Usage data: We collect anonymous analytics (pages visited, features used) to improve the product. We do not track you across other websites.
We use your data to provide, maintain, and improve Gratly. Specifically:
The Gratly Chrome extension runs locally in your browser. Recipe extraction happens entirely on your device — no page content is sent to our servers during extraction. Only the extracted recipe data is sent to our servers when you choose to save it.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties except:
When you use AI features (nutrition estimates, substitutions, diet conversion), your recipe data is sent to our AI provider to generate results. This data is not stored by the AI provider and is not used to train AI models.
Your data is stored on secured servers. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in) and anonymous analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. To exercise these rights, visit your account settings or contact us at hello@gratly.app.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
